I reluctantly rated it a 5 star on Netflix (c). Great documentary for those of you that loved the Best Worst Movie, or perhaps NBT: never been thawed. Heck, even if you liked the Auteur, Rubber, or the Fred Tuttle documentary - then watch The People vs. George Lucas.
I was mostly a star trek fan anyway ,starting now. Love the new one and can't wait for the sequel. They are literally now writing star trek our way. Go Zack Quinto.

Chris I watched the first 10min and had to turn it off. I think I just can't stand extreme star wars fans, they're more annoying to me than how lame a director George Lucas is. I mean, I get how Lucas is a douche and he sucks ass nowadays, but those dorkuses need to grow up. Talking about scruffy nerfherders and Tatooine and stuff, just gay hearing it from a 45yr old nerd, namsayne? The first few dorks had schlurrs and sounded like real retards 4real. I liked the original star warses and agree the recent ones were dumb, and that the dvd updates to the original were lame, but heck man, who cares. I can kinda relate because I loved the first 3 Indy movies and then in 2008 or whatever Lucas killed that too, but I just don't watch that movie. I crank Raiders and sit in bliss. Chris, F fanboys OK? Part of me hopes Lucas shares that opinion and is fucking with them on purpose just for lolz. My beef with him is that his skinny beard looks awful and makes his fat bloated neck look like he swallowed Yoda
